Governor GLADYS WANGA’s security detail leaves tongues wagging - She is moving around with more than 30 bodyguards in her own county (VIDEO)

Friday, September 25, 2026 - Questions are being raised over the security situation in Homa Bay after Governor Gladys Wanga was spotted moving around with more than 30 security personnel.

A video circulating on social media shows the governor surrounded by a large security detail as she moves around the county, leaving many wondering why she needs such a huge number of bodyguards.

Some social media users have drawn comparisons with President William Ruto’s security detail, arguing that even the Head of State does not appear to have that many non-uniformed officers accompanying him in public.

Homa Bay County has recently been in the spotlight over incidents of political violence, with rival groups clashing during political activities.
