Friday, February 20, 2026 - A Nigerian man residing in Kenya has taken to social media to express his frustration after his girlfriend stole from him and disappeared.
The visibly distressed man narrated how he had travelled
with his girlfriend but remained behind while she proceeded with the journey.
According to him, the two had been dating for some time, and
he trusted her enough to hand over his house keys.
He claims she was supposed to collect some of her personal
belongings from his house before travelling to Kakamega.
However, upon returning home, he found that most of his
household items were missing.
The man accuses his girlfriend of “sweeping the house
clean,” saying electronics, furniture and other valuables had disappeared.
Efforts to reach her through calls and messages have
reportedly been unsuccessful.
He further alleged that the woman has since vacated the
rented house where she had been staying, making it even harder to trace her.
