Thursday, September 4, 2025 - Nairobi residents were left shaken after armed thugs were captured on camera robbing unsuspecting members of the public in the Central Business District in broad daylight.
In the shocking video now circulating online, the gang, some
wielding crude weapons, are seen cornering pedestrians and snatching valuables
as terrified onlookers watched helplessly.
The brazen robbery happened in full view of business owners,
matatu operators, and passersby, raising fresh concerns about security in the
capital.
The video has since sparked outrage, with Kenyans demanding
answers from law enforcement agencies over the rising cases of insecurity in
the CBD.
