Tuesday, September 2, 2025 - A tragic road accident occurred along Thika Road after a young boda boda rider lost his life following a collision with a Super Metro bus.

According to eyewitnesses, the boda boda rider, who was reportedly intoxicated at the time, was knocked down by the matatu near Juja.

The accident quickly sparked outrage among fellow riders and members of the public, who descended on the bus.

The vehicle was destroyed beyond repair.
