Thursday, September 4, 2025 - A Toyota Fielder that had been stolen two months ago at Witeithie along Thika Road was finally recovered and returned to its rightful owner.

The vehicle was reportedly hired out before disappearing without a trace, leaving the owner devastated.

Investigations later revealed that the car had been sold in Moyale and smuggled across the border into Ethiopia.

Thanks to the sharp work of sleuths from the Juja DCI, the suspect who sold the vehicle was tracked down and arrested.

He later led detectives across the border, where the Fielder was found intact.

The car was successfully brought back to Kenya and handed over to the overjoyed owner.

Social media users have since commended the tireless efforts of the Juja DCI and other officers who worked round the clock to ensure the vehicle’s safe return.
