Friday, November 6, 2026 - Kapseret Member of Parliament Oscar Sudi has faced backlash from a section of social media users over his behaviour during Charlene Ruto’s wedding in Tanzania.

Sudi, who is among President William Ruto’s close confidants, was all over the place during the lavish wedding, with his conduct attracting attention from social media users.

Reacting to a trending video from the event, one critic called out the MP and urged him to show more respect for the Presidency.

“Awesome, but Sudi aache tabia mbaya. You can easily tell when someone has a small education and no grounding in ethics and integrity. 

"They don't respect institutions. I have watched Sudi behaving like a small, excited boy around the President. No manners, no decorum. Someone should tell him that Ruto is not his peer; he is the President of the Republic of Kenya. 

"The presidency must be respected. Proximity to power is not familiarity. Learn manners,” the critic wrote.
