Thursday, April 02, 2026 - Kenyan celebrity couple, Diana Marua and Kevin Bahati, have once again caused a buzz on social media after openly disagreeing on expanding their family.
Bahati expressed his desire for another child but insisted
on waiting five years until he was “extremely rich.”
Diana, however, was quick to push back, questioning his
assumptions and highlighting the toll of motherhood.
“You think I am a delivering machine? Can you give me a break? Wewe
unafikiria pata mtoto ni kuamka tu… na ndio hiyo,” she retorted.
Frustrated, Diana explained she is still struggling to lose
baby weight and is focused on her career.
“I am at the peak of my career, and you cannot pull me back to ati
nianze hapa na mambo ya pregnancy.”
The conversation escalated when Diana issued a bold
ultimatum.
She declared that if Bahati truly wants another child, it must
happen by December 31st, 2026, and only under one condition.
“Huyu mtoto, by December 31 of this year, if I am not pregnant,
forget about it. You have to pay me to carry a child for you.”
Diana went further, demanding Ksh 10 million before agreeing
to another pregnancy.
“I am not going to get pregnant if you haven’t paid me… I am not
taking anything less than Ksh 10 million,” she insisted, stressing
that the payment will reflect the sacrifices she would make in pausing her
career, lifestyle and body goals.
So far, Bahati and Diana are parents to three biological
children - Heaven, Majesty, and Malaika - and they also adopted Diana’s son,
Morgan, making them a family of four kids in total.
