Friday, March 13, 2026 - Self-declared “Goon Z” Chairman, Swaleh Sonko, a controversial ground mobilizer, was captured on camera flirting with Laikipia Woman Representative, Jane Kagiri, during a recent meet-up, sparking reactions online.
In the video circulating on social media, Swaleh is
seen recording a selfie video with the Woman Rep while openly
complimenting her beauty, leaving those around them amused.
At one point, Swaleh tells Kagiri, “Mhesh
umenawiri,” prompting the Woman Rep to respond with a shy “Asante” as
those nearby burst into laughter.
The lively moment continued as Swaleh thanked Nominated
Senator Karen Nyamu for introducing him to “beautiful women.”
“Karenzo unanipeleka kwa wamama wazuri wazuri,” Swaleh
is heard saying, leaving Nyamu laughing.
Nyamu quickly teased him back, saying, “Naona
unarusha mistari,” as Swaleh continued jokingly flirting with the
Laikipia legislator.
The lighthearted exchange has since sparked mixed reactions
online, with some netizens amused by Swaleh’s boldness while others criticized
the growing trend of leaders associating themselves with goons.
