Friday, March 27, 2026 - A viral photo circulating on social media has sparked concern after it showed a top-performing student from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT) in a visibly distressed state, with many pointing to possible mental health struggles.
The image, widely shared online, depicts the once-brilliant
student, said to be a fourth year pursuing political science, loitering around
the Think Twice building area near the university, dressed shabbily and
appearing disturbed.
The photo was accompanied by a heartfelt post from an
individual who claimed to have known him during his academic peak.
“This was one of the brightest chaps in JKUAT. How he ended up this way is still a mystery to me. I find him around Think Twice building most evenings because that’s where he has found refuge. I feel for him because that’s a bright brain lost,” the post read.
