Wednesday, January 21, 2026 - A car owner is counting heavy losses after his vehicle was wrecked by a car wash attendant who took it out for an unauthorized test drive.
According to reports, the owner had briefly left the vehicle
and its keys with the attendant while running errands.
However, instead of safeguarding the car, the attendant took
it out for a drive, lost control, and rammed into a pole, causing extensive
damage to the vehicle.
A photo of the damaged car has since surfaced online,
sparking outrage and cautionary reactions from social media users.
Many warned car owners against leaving their car keys with
attendants.
“To be safe, never give your car keys to those car wash guys. Otherwise, it will cost you a lot,” one user commented.
