Saturday, January 3, 2026 - A Toyota Probox that had reportedly been stolen in Githurai was found abandoned and badly vandalized in Nakuru, with most of its key parts missing.
The vehicle had been dumped in a backstreet garage, stripped
down almost to its frame, with the engine, wheels, seats, and several interior
fittings missing.
Photos from the scene show the car’s shell left behind like a skeletal frame, indicating that the thieves dismantled it.
