Thursday, December 11, 2025 - Two weeks after President William Ruto officially launched the construction of the Rironi–Mau Summit Dual Carriageway, observers on the ground are claiming that no activity has begun, saying “not even a wheelbarrow is on site.”
According
to locals, the only visible sign of the project so far is the launch plaque bearing the President’s name,
standing alone by the roadside as the busy highway continues to choke under
heavy traffic and endless gridlocks.
