Monday, October 13, 2025 - A rogue Somali businessman identified as Farah has been arrested and disarmed after shooting and killing one of his employees in cold blood during a confrontation at a construction site in Athi River, Machakos County.

The deceased, identified as Samuel Mwangi Maina, was reportedly working for the businessman at the site when a dispute broke out.

Eyewitnesses say Farah accused Mwangi of stealing a gate, sparking a heated exchange that quickly turned violent.

In a shocking turn of events, Farah drew his pistol and shot Mwangi at close range.

A video shared online shows a visibly distraught relative of the deceased confronting the businessman moments after the shooting, but Farah appears unmoved and unapologetic, standing calmly at the scene despite the gravity of his actions.

Police officers from Athi River Police Station swiftly responded, arrested the suspect, and recovered the firearm used in the incident.
