The incident occurred ahead of Kenya’s World Cup qualifier
against Gambia, with McCarthy visibly ignoring Arocho’s attempt to engage with
national team staff.
Sources suggest that the South African tactician has
blacklisted Arocho from future Harambee Stars media engagements, citing his
controversial commentary during the recent CHAN tournament.
Kenya exited the competition in the quarter-finals after a
penalty shootout loss to Madagascar.
