Friday, August 1, 2025 - Businesswoman and public figure, Sara Mtalii, has come clean about the truth behind her once-envied marriage to Bonfire Adventures co-founder, Simon Kabu, revealing that much of what the public saw was a carefully curated lie.
In a candid interview, Sarah confessed that the
much-hyped Range Rover "gift" from Simon was not what it
seemed.
“It was not a gift. I paid for it for five
years,” she revealed, adding that the entire presentation was staged
for social media to create the illusion of a picture-perfect relationship.
Sarah said the pressure to uphold that fake image
nearly broke her, as she smiled through interviews, photo ops, and online
praise, all while privately enduring a crumbling marriage.
“Even when things were bad at home, I still smiled for the
camera. But deep down, I was planning my way out,” she confessed.
Determined to regain her freedom and peace, Sarah began
secretly saving money and emotionally preparing to leave.
Now that she is no longer in the marriage, Sarah says she is
focusing on healing, raising her children, and building a new life with
honesty.
