Wednesday, January 8, 2025 - Dishon Ochieng, an employee at KCB Bank's Kencom Branch, is at the center of a drama involving his wife Mary Akoth Ochado, and his side chick, Nyar Alego.
Ochado claims that Dishon has abandoned her and their 4 kids
after eloping with his side chick.
He has also been subjecting her to physical abuse.
A few weeks ago,
Dishon’s wife took to social media to cry for justice and narrated her marital
woes.
She has reported her husband to the police and FIDA over assault but no action has been taken against him.
Below are photos of her abusive husband and his side chick.

Nonsense, what kind of Journalism is this. Why did you not post The Man's side of the Story too? What does KCB, his employer have to do with their Marital squabs? Who is the wife's employer? So You think this will now convince the man to go back to the wife. You lack content. What a Mediocre articles.
ReplyDeleteI Call this Mediocre Journalism. A typical case of gutter press. I must express my concerns regarding the apparent lack of balance and objectivity in the piece. Focusing on maligning the boychild/Men for that matter.
ReplyDeleteFirst, the article presents a one-sided view, focusing predominantly on the perspective of the wife. It is essential, especially in a case as sensitive as a marital dispute, to provide both sides of the story. The absence of Dishon’s perspective creates an incomplete narrative, potentially leading readers to form an unjustified opinion. A fair and balanced report would include statements or insights from both parties, as well as relevant details from both sides.
Additionally, the mention of the Dishon’s employer, KCB, seems out of place unless there is a clear connection to the marital issue. Including such personal and professional details without context diverts the focus of the article and potentially infringing upon the privacy of Dishon. I would also question why the wife's employer was not included in the article if such details are deemed necessary to the story.
Lastly, I am concerned about the potential implications of the article. It seems to suggest a direction for resolving the marital dispute, possibly encouraging reconciliation between the couple. While this may be the outcome some hope for, a journalistic piece should remain neutral and avoid influencing the parties involved or the readers’ views.
I strongly believe that journalism should be thorough, unbiased, and fair. In this case, the article failed to meet those standards. The Writer is below par in providing a more balanced and respectful approach to sensitive topics like these.
