I was foolish - Simp PHILIP KARANJA regrets buying his ex-wife KATE ACTRESS a BMW X 3 as a push gift, sells it and goes back to using Uber.

Thursday, January 18, 2024 - Renowned actor and film director, Philip Karanja, has sold the black BMW X3 that he had gifted his ex-wife, Catherine Kamau popularly known as Kate Actress, in January 2020.

The multi-talented actor said he regrets buying the expensive car which was valued at Sh 3.5 million, adding that he sold it due to its exorbitant maintenance costs.

Philip said he was young and foolish when he bought the German machine for his ex-wife as a push gift.

He is now using cabs after selling it.

“I love cars a lot, and so I was young and foolish, and I spent so much on my car, and it has been a very expensive journey to maintain. 

"I am like, that is a car I would have used wisely somewhere. I sold it. I have decided to go back on Uber,” he said.

Philip and Kate announced their break up last year.

Kate has since moved on and is now dating Tribes Hotel General Manager Michael Mwangi.
