Donkeys carrying an explosive survive as one police officer dies on the spot after the IED exploded at Mandera border (VIDEO).

 Thursday, January 18, 2024 - A police officer died on the spot while two others were seriously injured after an improvised explosive device (IED) concealed within a donkey cart detonated at the Mandera border crossing point.

It is believed that terrorists used the donkey cart to carry out the attack that caught the police officers manning the border flat-footed.

“Authorities are swiftly responding to the incident, conducting investigations to ascertain the details surrounding the attack,” read a police report.

Security measures have since been heightened to ensure the safety of the area and its residents in the wake of the incident.

The two donkeys survived the early morning terror attack.
