Embarrassing moment as President RUTO addresses an empty crowd in Nyahururu - The few people who listened to him looked gloomy and hopeless (VIDEO).

 Thursday, January 11, 2024 - Residents of Nyahururu boycotted President William Ruto’s roadside rally after he made a stop-over to address them, shortly after commissioning a milking plant in the area.

A video shared on social media shows the residents, the majority of them being boda boda riders and mama mbogas, going about their business as Ruto addressed them.

The few people who listened to the head of state looked gloomy and hopeless.

President Ruto has been facing resistance in most of the areas that voted for him overwhelmingly.

His supporters have been accusing him of issuing empty promises and introducing punitive taxes.
