CONNIE MBURU emotionally mourns her daughter whose body was dumped at Mama Lucy Hospital by her abusive boyfriend after he beat her to death (PHOTOs).

Tuesday, January 16, 2023 - A Kenyan woman, identified as Connie Mburu, has paid tribute to her late daughter, Sharon Muthoni, who died after she was brutally assaulted by her boyfriend.

He dumped her body at Mama Lucy Hospital in Kayole after killing her.

It's been 8 years since my daughter left us.

On the 14th of January 2016, my daughter Julie Sharon Muthoni's lifeless body was dumped by her boyfriend Salim Serem at Mama Lucy Hospital Kayole.

In her memory, I started a group to walk with families who have lost their loved ones.

We have done so much without making big announcements on social media.

I have also been accompanying some of our members to Court and visiting them in their homes, as a group to comfort and counsel them.

I decided to start something intentionally so that I can keep my daughter's memory alive because I wouldn't want to forget her even for one single day.

In life every parent hopes to die before their Children but not the other way around.

Also as a parent, we believe in protecting our children against any danger but trust me, death is final.

Standing by the side of your child's grave and seeing the casket being lowered down and thereafter covered with heaps of soil, leaves any parent feeling desperate and hopeless, for being unable to protect them.

May you continue resting with angles my baby girl because you were truly one of them.

It's been 8 years but no day has ever gone, without remembering you, because we shared so much and we meant the world to each other.
