Friday, October 30, 2026 – Businessman Sam Mburu, the husband of Nakuru Governor Susan Kihika, has offered Kenyans a rare glimpse into the private world of National Assembly Majority Leader Kimani Ichung’wah after attending his lavish 50th birthday celebration.
Mburu shared photos from the invite-only event on social
media, giving netizens a sneak peek at both the grand occasion and the
impressive residence where the celebrations were held.
Accompanying the photos, Mburu penned a heartfelt message to
the Majority Leader:
"What a way
to celebrate your 50th birthday, Bwana Majority Leader Hon. Kimani Ichung’wah.
We wish you many, many more, bro."
One of the standout images featured Ichung’wah posing
alongside his wife and Mburu on a pristine, well-manicured lawn stretching
before a stunning mansion.
The elegant residence boasts a cream-and-beige exterior
accented by towering white pillars, expansive windows, and a stone-clad lower
facade that gives it the charm of a classic country estate.
The lush greenery, beautifully maintained flower beds, and
tranquil surroundings further added to the home's upscale appeal, painting a
picture of luxury and exclusivity away from the political spotlight.
Another photo captured the birthday cake prepared for the
celebration.
Decorated with green icing and red cherries, the cake bore a
special birthday message in honour of the Majority Leader, adding a personal
touch to the festivities.
While Ichung’wah remains one of Kenya's most prominent and outspoken political figures, he has largely kept his personal life and family affairs away from public scrutiny.
