Tuesday, October 27, 2026 - Raila Odinga Junior has assured ODM supporters that his uncle, Dr. Oburu Oginga, is recovering well after spending some time in hospital, amid reports that he had been seriously ill.
Junior visited Oburu and
shared photos of their meeting on his X account, accompanied by the caption,
“God is good.”
Oburu had been out of the
limelight for several months as he sought specialised medical treatment both
locally and abroad.
His prolonged absence from
public events sparked speculation about his health, with rumours circulating
online claiming that he had passed away.
The ODM leader was
subsequently forced to appear on camera to reassure the public that he was
alive and well.
