Scare as Kenya Institute of Mass Communication student, SHARON MURIITHI NYAWIRA, is alleged to have infected multiple students and lecturers with HOMA KUBWA

Tuesday, October 20, 2026 - A student from the South B-based Kenya Institute of Mass Communication (KIMC) is alleged to have infected more than 10 lecturers and 20 students with “homa kubwa.”

The student, identified as Sharon Muriithi Nyawira, is at the centre of claims circulating online, with a source alleging that the matter is widely known within the media college.

“I have evidence and everyone in school knows,” the source claimed.
