Saturday, September 26, 2026 - Principal Sergeant-at-Arms in Parliament Reuben Chesire Kimosop has reportedly been fired after he was found guilty of misconduct involving a female intern.

The intern lodged a complaint with the Parliamentary Service Commission, accusing Kimosop of gross misconduct.

Kimosop was found guilty of the offence and subsequently fired.

He had previously been accused of taking advantage of Nominated Senator Crystal Asige in an elevator.

However, the incident was particularly difficult to establish because the Senator is blind and therefore could not identify who was involved.
