Saturday,
August 22, 2026 - Drama unfolded during a funeral ceremony in Narok after
mourners walked out when a Member of Parliament affiliated with the ruling UDA
party started attacking former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua and other
opposition leaders.
In
the video, the mourners are seen peacefully leaving the venue as the MP
continues addressing the gathering.
The
mass walkout left the legislator addressing a largely empty venue, with chairs
gradually being left vacant as mourners made their exit.
The
incident has since attracted attention online, with some social media users
praising the mourners for choosing to walk away peacefully rather than disrupt
the event.
The video comes amid Gachagua’s growing popularity in different parts of the country, with the former Deputy President increasingly drawing large crowds during his political engagements.
