"Nitakutandika Takataka Wewe" - Rogue plain-clothed cop caught on camera harassing Githurai boda boda rider and extorting a bribe (VIDEO)

Monday, February 9, 2026 - A rogue plain-clothed police officer has been exposed after he was filmed harassing and threatening a boda boda rider in Githurai while attempting to extort a bribe.

The officer, believed to be among security personnel deployed to curb crime in the area, was captured confronting the rider at the busy Githurai roundabout.

In the video, the unidentified officer stops the rider and becomes hostile when asked to properly identify himself.

“Nitakutandika taka taka wewe,” he is heard threatening, before demanding the rider’s licence and other documents.

He further orders the rider to apologize for asking for his identification, escalating the confrontation.

Area residents and riders claim the officer is notorious for targeting boda boda operators, frequently intimidating them and demanding bribes.
