Friday, February 13,
2026 - American streamer, Darren Jason Watkins Jr, better known as IShowSpeed,
has confirmed he’s heading back to Kenya - just days after declaring the East
African country his favorite stop on his Africa tour.
During a lively livestream on Friday, February 13th,
2026, Speed checked in with Kenyan internet sensation Bradley Marongo, aka Gen Z
Goliath.
The two shared laughs and warm words, with Speed promising, “I want
to come back to Kenya, and we will link up again.”
Goliath, dining with friends at the time, encouraged him to
explore more of the country: “Bro, you miss a lot. Let me show you Kenya.”
The exchange capped off a whirlwind week in which Speed
praised Kenya’s hospitality and marveled at the massive turnout during his
Nairobi livestream.
Over 30,000 fans gathered to watch him live, an experience
he described as one of the most astonishing moments of his career.
“I don’t think I’ve ever seen such people ever.”
“To pull that kind of crowd in Africa was amazing,” he
said in a Zoom interview on Thursday.
Speed’s first Kenyan adventure included a memorable visit to
Mukuru kwa Njenga, where he met Goliath in person and tried on Goliath’s
enormous shoes, joking they were “bigger than a Toyota.”
The duo even faced off in a playful basketball challenge, with Goliath crediting his towering frame to eating ugali - a remark that left Speed both amused and impressed.
