Tuesday, November 18, 2025 - Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua is reportedly carrying his own tea and bread as he campaigns in Mbeere North, which some claim he pretends to find in homesteads during door-to-door campaigns as part of his PR moves.
The tea is served exclusively by Nyambura
Mwangi, Senator Methu’s Secretary,
putting to rest any notion that Gachagua suddenly trusts refreshments prepared
by strangers.
Gachagua has previously emphasized the importance of security
in his daily life, reportedly consuming food and tea that is
only prepared by his wife, a habit that seems to follow him even on the
campaign trail.
