Friday, September 5, 2025 - Kenya Sevens rugby powerhouse, Alvin “Buffa” Otieno, tied the knot over the weekend in a scenic Canadian ceremony with his stunning fiancée, Melissa Killion.
The former Kakamega High and Homeboyz RFC star, known for
his explosive pace and bone-crushing tackles, has been living in Canada since
2022.
Buffa now joins fellow rugby icons Willy Ambaka and Dennis
Ombachi - aka the Roaming Chef - in embracing love across borders.
From the pitch to the altar, it’s a beautiful new chapter
for the Water Buffalo.
