Friday, September 5, 2025 - In a dramatic turn of events, celebrated Mugithi star Samuel Muchoki Ndirangu, popularly known as Samidoh, has been barred by a Nairobi court from contacting a woman identified as M.R.W, who has accused him of s3xual assault during his U.S tour in November 2021.

Justice Lawrence Mugambi issued the interim order on September 5th, 2025, prohibiting Samidoh and his associates from reaching out, harassing or intimidating the petitioner.

The woman alleges that the singer assaulted her at an Airbnb in Overland Park, Kansas, despite her repeated resistance.

She claims to have preserved audio recordings and messages, including one where Samidoh allegedly insulted her as a “35-year-old professional pr0st!tut3.”

A police report was filed in Kansas under Case No. 2023022021, but she says Kenyan authorities have failed to act on her complaint.

To protect her identity and dignity, the court ordered that all proceedings be held in camera and that her personal details be sealed.

Justice Mugambi also directed the Inspector General of Police and the Directorate of Criminal Investigations to preserve all relevant digital and documentary evidence.

As the legal process unfolds, the matter is set for mention on October 8th, 2025, to confirm compliance and issue further directions.
