Tuesday, June 17, 2025 - Tension erupted along a major highway after a group of angry residents boldly confronted an armed police officer, accusing him of persistent harassment and intimidation in a dramatic scene that has since gone viral online.
In the video, a visibly agitated crowd can be seen
surrounding the officer, shouting “Hatuogopi bunduki" (We are not
afraid of your gun!), as they vent their frustration over what they claim is a
pattern of unlawful treatment.
The officer, who was in uniform and armed with an AK-47
rifle, had routinely harassed the residents, allegedly demanding bribes,
issuing threats, and making arbitrary arrests.
Despite being visibly overwhelmed by the crowd, the officer
did not retaliate or attempt to use his firearm, possibly aware of the
consequences in an era where police brutality is increasingly being captured on
camera and exposed to the public.
