Monday, January 6, 2025 - The internet has erupted after President William Ruto hosted controversial Zimbabwean businessman Wicknell Chivayo at his Sugoi home on Sunday afternoon.

The shrewd businessman is in the country for a ‘business trip’.

Last year, he was linked to a US$40 million corruption elections tender deal.

Chivayo went on a spending spree after receiving money from the corrupt US$40 million Zimbabwe Electoral Commission tender deal.

He bought two Maybachs in one week and bragged that the money was just a “little change”.

He is fond of parading his lavish lifestyle on social media, which is funded by proceeds of corruption, fraud, and money laundering.
