Monday, February 12, 2024 - Former Nairobi Governor, Mike Sonko, popped expensive champagne to celebrate after Ivory Coast beat Nigeria to lift the coveted African Cup of Nations cup on Sunday night.

Sonko, a well-known sports fanatic, watched the much-anticipated final match between the two African giants with friends while indulging in expensive drinks.

He was rooting for Ivory Coast and once the final whistle was blown, he erupted in joy.

He was filmed popping champagne to celebrate the win.
