A 21-year-old Kikuyu lady among the suspects arrested after detectives raided a house along Kangundo Road and recovered bhang worth Ksh 300,000 (PHOTOs).

 Wednesday, February 7, 2024 - Detectives from the Nairobi Anti-Narcotics Unit raided a house in Joska area along Kangundo Road after getting intelligence reports and arrested two suspects suspected to be drug traffickers.

The suspects, 21-year-old Laban Ochieng Odera and Ann Nyambura Njoki, 21, were arrested for being in possession of bhang.

The bhang weighed 10kgs and had an estimated street value of Sh 300,000.

The duo has since been taken to Muthaiga police station awaiting arraignment.

 The matter remains under investigation.

“The two suspects were escorted to Muthaiga Police Station for court processing, and the exhibit which weighed 10kg estimated at a street value of Sh300, 000 secured," DCI stated.
