Thursday, January 11, 2023 - A prominent United Democratic Alliance (UDA) MP has purchased a multi-million chopper even as millions of Kenyans continue to grapple with the high cost of living due to over-taxation and high inflation.

According to documents shared online by blogger Cyprian Nyakundi, Kimilili Member of Parliament, Didmus Barasa, has purchased a five-seat Robinson R66 helicopter valued at approximately Sh 150 million.

The bird is powered by a Rolls-Royce RR300 turboshaft engine, according to its official website.

Surprisingly, the MP was not charged tax by the government since President William Ruto excluded chopper buyers from taxes to promote helicopter buying and hiring

Here are documents showing that Barasa is the new owner of the Robinson R66 helicopter.
