This is why MARTHA KARUA has urged the United States and JOE BIDEN to keep off Kenya's affairs

Wednesday, January 31, 2024 - Azimio One Kenya Alliance leaders have urged foreign powers, especially the United States of America, to keep off Kenya's affairs.

In a statement read by Narc Kenya chairperson, Martha Karua, the opposition coalition told the Joe Biden-led administration to let Kenyans decide on the way forward and avoid interference.

Karua spoke after the US Justice Department welcomed President William Ruto’s move to appeal the ruling on the deployment of security forces to Haiti.

A court sitting in Nairobi last week declared the move by the government to send troops to Haiti unconstitutional.

“We take note of the support expressed by the United States government for the Ruto regime to appeal against the ruling on the deployment of police to Haiti,” Karua said

The Narc Kenya boss urged all parties to respect the independence of the judiciary.

“We hope that all parties shall respect the Independence of the Judiciary and that foreign Interest will keep off our national affairs,” she stated.
