This is HASSAN JOHO’s statement after KALONZO MUSYOKA said he will not support RAILA ODINGA for the Presidency again

Thursday, January 11, 2024 - Former Mombasa County Governor, Hassan Joho, has concluded his long sabbatical from politics and has now spoken about the Orange Democratic Movement and the 2027 presidential election.

Speaking in one of the Mombasa hotels, Joho said he is still behind ODM and former Prime Minister Raila Odinga and warned those who have been urging Baba to retire from politics.

Joho said that in case Raila Odinga refuses to vie for the presidency in 2027, he will personally vie for the top seat.

“I am very ready at any time to vie for the presidency should you feel that you need someone to vie,” Joho said

Joho spoke a day after former Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka announced his presidential bid in 2027 and said that nothing will stop his ambitions, including Raila Odinga, whom he said he will never support his bid again.
