SHOCK as it emerges that the man who killed a lady at an Airbnb along TRM Drive was hired and carried the head to show his masters - Detectives close in on his hideout.

Tuesday, January 16, 2024 - Detectives probing the brutal murder of a 20-year-old lady at an Airbnb along TRM Drive are following crucial leads, even as it emerges that the suspected killer might have been hired to carry out the heinous act.

It is believed that the suspect dismembered the body and carried the head to show to his masters.

CCTV cameras captured him arriving at a nearby shop at around 4 pm on Saturday to pick up the keys.

He had a cap and spectacles that police believed were meant to hide his identity.

Holding firmly in his hand was a black bag that police believe contained the saw and other materials he used in his mission.

He appeared to be in a hurry and a bit tensed.

Police believe the lady was murdered hours after she arrived at the Airbnb.

It is suspected that the man drugged the lady and dismembered her body in the bathroom.

He arranged the body parts in a bed sheet and put them in a paper bag before dumping them in a dustbin at around 5 am.

He then escaped after accomplishing his mission.

Using phone triangulation, police have placed the suspect in the Ruaka area, Kiambu County where he seems to have been staying for days.

It also emerged that he left Ruaka for TRM drive on the fateful day he murdered the lady.
