SHOCK as a body of a young doctor is found in a trench at Nakuru Level 6 hospital - The deceased doctor’s sister heartbroken after learning about his mysterious death on social media.

Sunday, January 14, 2023 - A Kenyan lady has mourned the untimely demise of her brother, Dr. Lang’at Laban, who died under mysterious circumstances at Nakuru Level 6 hospital, where he was an intern.

She learnt about her brother’s death through social media.

The County Executive Member for Health Services in Nakuru, Roselyn Mungai, announced in a statement that the body of the medical professional was found in the trenches outside the maternity wing around 7:00 a.m.

The deceased doctor’s sister  stumbled upon the post and revealed that it was indeed her brother who had passed on.

She noted that she was devastated to have learnt of her kin's demise via social media.

 She revealed that she was in Nairobi, and they could not relay the message via social media.

“Why am I finding out through the internet that My brother is dead? ” she wrote.

She also lamented how unfair it was that he had studied for eight years only for him to die before enjoying the fruits of his labour.

“Eight years in med school, and God didn’t even want us to reap what we sow? and all the struggles? ata ya internship tu?and the Christmas we never shared?God is the most unfair person I never met,” she added.

The young man was interning at the Margaret Kenyatta Mother Baby Maternity wing of the Rift Valley Provincial General Hospital.

He had been serving the hospital since August 2023.

The body has no physical injuries and all his personal items were intact.
