Tuesday, January 9, 2024 - Contoversial businesswoman and musician, Esther Akoth alias Akothee, has opened up about her flopped marriage with Denis Schweizer, better known as Omosh.
Speaking in a candid interview, the mother of five said her
eldest daughter, Vesha, had noticed that Omosh was a liar and warned her.
However, she ignored the warning because she was madly in
love with him and went ahead to plan a grand wedding that was the talk of
social media.
Akothee disclosed that trouble
began during their honeymoon when she noticed that Omosh got easily irritated.
“Whenever he would get mad, his
face would become so small. So I wondered, am I dating my enemy?” Akothee said.
He got irritated nearly all the
time and when she confronted him one day, he revealed that he had bipolar
disorder.
He was even taking medicines
without her knowledge,
“He told me he takes meds and has
bipolar. I was shocked. When he told me he had bipolar disorder, things came to
mind.”
“I thought of all the guests I had
invited to my wedding. I asked him why he did not tell me prior. He said that
he was afraid I was going to leave him.”
“I felt betrayed, confused. He
said he had sought help, and with the help of a third party, he thought he
could change.”
“We were left with 2 days until
the honeymoon was over. Each time he would burst in anger, I could feel he was
controlling himself,” she disclosed.
Akothee further revealed that she
was forced to go for therapy sessions after her marriage flopped.
She would go for days without food
and sleep, prompting her to go for therapy.
“I have come out of a very
dangerous zone, and I have been healing in private. I am in my second month of
therapy.”
“The trauma I went through after
finding out the truth and some ugly stuff left me shaking.”
“I went for days without food or
sleep, questioning and answering myself.”
“It has been very heavy some days;
a night will just break into a day with me looking outside the window, gazing
at nothing. I would be shaking for reasons I can't explain...” she added.
