Wednesday, January 10, 2024 – Kyle Walker's wife Annie Kilner has announced her split from the Manchester City footballer.
The £160,000-a-week defender has been accused of being
unfaithful to his wife multiple times, with Instagram influencer Lauryn
Goodman, 32, maintaining he is the father of her three-year-old son Kairo.
Annie, who first met Kyle in their hometown of Sheffield
when she was 15 and he was 17 wrote;
"I am posting this in response to growing recent media
enquiries about my marriage to Kyle and in an effort to protect my family
against the intensity of the media spotlight.
"Sadly, after many years of marriage and three
wonderful children together; I have decided to take some time away from Kyle.
"I do not wish to comment on the position any further.
For now, I ask that the privacy of myself and our three young children is
respected during this difficult time."
Annie and the England ace tied the knot in December 2021 and
share three young children together, Riaan, Roman and Reign. Despite her
husband being involved in scandals, Annie has always seemingly stood by her
man, until now. It has also been revealed that Kyle is no longer living at the
family's sprawling £2.5million property in Cheshire.
Kyle is yet to comment on his wife's announcement, with his last Instagram post shared a week ago. The dad-of-four was seemingly looking ahead to a positive and bright 2024 as he shared a video montage of football highlights with 4.6million followers. "2023 an incredible year we all could only have dreamt of," Kyle captioned the post on New Year's Eve. "I wish everyone a very happy new year and all the success for 2024."
