Friday, January 26, 2024 - Renowned Nairobi
lawyer, Ahmednasir Abdullahi, has named three chief Justices of Kenya who
fought corruption during their time at the helm of the Judiciary.
In a social media post on Friday, Ahmednasir, who in legal
circles is known as Grand Mullah, said the only chief justices who fought
corruption in the judiciary are; Chief Justices
Abdul Majid Cockar, Evans Johnson Gicheru and Dr. Willy Mutunga.
He said the rest were clueless or
were crooks at the Judiciary.
"In Kenya's history, only
three Chief Justices fought corruption in the courts and were committed
100%.Abdul Majid Cockar, Evans Johnson Gicheru and Dr. Willy Mutunga.
"The rest were either
clueless or known crooks! Kenya judiciary," Ahmednasir wrote on his X
platform.
Ahmednasir made the comments a few
days after he was banned from appearing before the Supreme Court for attacking
the apex court, accusing it of being a 'brothel of corruption'.
