CCTV captures 12-year-old JOY MUTHONI being abducted from her parents' home by a strange woman - Here is the new trick abductors are using to conduct their criminal activities.


Friday, January 26, 2024 - A 12-year-old girl went missing after she was abducted by a woman from her parent’s home in Gikomba, Nairobi.

CCTV footage captured the suspected abductor walking with the victim after picking her up from her parents' home.

It is suspected that the girl is being held hostage in Kayole.

Former Governor, Mike Sonko, warned parents to be vigilant and revealed that abductors have found a new trick to conduct their criminal activities.

He promised a reward of Ksh 300,000 to anyone with information that would help the police in tracing Joy.

To all parents be on the lookout, abductions of children is on the rise in Nairobi. Abductors have found a new way of conducting the criminal act by pretending to be househelps looking for work, and if they find a child alone at home, they abduct him/her. Parents be vigilant on your children. In the meantime, we are offering a reward of 300k to anyone with information that will assist the police in tracing Joy. It is believed that the abductors of Joy are hiding her within Kayole area,’’ wrote Sonko.
