CCTV footage captured
the suspected abductor walking with the victim after picking her up from her parents'
home.
It is suspected that
the girl is being held hostage in Kayole.
Former Governor, Mike
Sonko, warned parents to be vigilant and revealed that abductors have found a
new trick to conduct their criminal activities.
He promised a reward
of Ksh 300,000 to anyone with information that would help the police in tracing
Joy.
“To all parents be on the lookout, abductions of children is
on the rise in Nairobi. Abductors have found a new way of conducting the
criminal act by pretending to be househelps looking for work, and if they find
a child alone at home, they abduct him/her. Parents be vigilant on your children.
In the meantime, we are offering a reward of 300k to anyone with information
that will assist the police in tracing Joy. It is believed that the abductors
of Joy are hiding her within Kayole area,’’ wrote Sonko.
ATTENTION ATTENTION PARENTS.
