Saturday, November 07, 2026 - Kenyan actress Sandra Dacha has hit back at critics questioning her appearance after losing significant weight using Ozempic.

She addressed the criticism after social media users suggested that she looked younger when she was bigger but appeared older following her weight-loss journey.

Dacha appeared unimpressed by the comparisons, questioning why people expected her face and body to remain unchanged after shedding several kilos.

“Apparently, I looked younger when I was bigger and now I look old after losing weight😇

“So basically, I was supposed to lose weight but retain the face and body of my former self?

“Aki, you people are difficult!!! Mimi nilipunguza KILO, si umri,” she wrote in a social media post on Friday, November 6, 2026.

Her remarks have sparked conversations about the scrutiny public figures often face over their physical appearances, with Dacha seemingly making it clear that she is comfortable with her transformation despite the unsolicited opinions.

Dacha has been open about her weight-loss journey, including revealing in August 2024 that she had started using Ozempic injections to help shed excess weight.

In December 2025, she disclosed that her weight had dropped from 152kg to 135kg within four months.

By November 2025, she shared another update, revealing that she had shed a total of 52kg, bringing her weight down to 100kg.

Despite the attention surrounding her changing appearance, Dacha appears determined to enjoy her transformation on her own terms.
