Monday, October 26, 2026 - Former Mt Elgon Member of Parliament John Serut’s daughter has been reminded of her father’s controversial past after she posted hot photos of herself on X, parading her beauty.
Serut’s daughter had shared two photos comparing her appearance at 18 with her current look as a 28-year-old.
However, the post backfired when some social media users
brought up allegations surrounding her late father’s past as an MP.
John Serut was repeatedly accused of organising and funding
the Sabaot Land Defence Force (SLDF), a militia linked to brutal violence
during the 2006–2008 Mount Elgon clashes.
Serut vehemently denied the allegations and maintained his
innocence until he died in 2022.
