All is Vanity! Video shows the eight-bedroom house RUTO’s friend and Zimbabwean businessman WICKNELL CHIVAYO was building in the village before chopper crash

Friday, October 2, 2026 - President William Ruto’s Zimbabwean friend and business associate, Wicknell Chivayo, was in the process of constructing a massive eight-bedroom house in the village before he perished in a chopper crash alongside his wife.

The palatial home features a lounge, an office, gym, sauna and other modern facilities.

Wicknell and his wife had gone to inspect the ongoing construction when the chopper they were travelling in crashed, killing them on the spot.

What remains now are memories of the dream home he was putting up before the tragedy.
