A DCI officer based at Juja Police Station targeted by EACC over corruption - Accused of engaging in graft to finance his married mistress, who is also a DCI officer

Wednesday, October 14, 2026 - Vincent Njoroge Minai, a DCI officer based at Juja Police Station, has been accused of obtaining bribes and abusing his office, with reports indicating that several complaints have been forwarded to the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC).

Minai is alleged to have engaged in corrupt dealings to obtain money to finance his illicit affair with Carolyn Ndungwa, a fellow DCI officer who is reportedly married and was transferred to Mbeere South.

According to sources, Carolyn meets Minai regularly for private encounters despite being married.

He has also been labelled one of the most corrupt officers at Juja Police Station.

It remains unclear whether the EACC has formally opened an investigation into the complaints or taken any action against the officer.
