Late rapper STOOPID BOY’s Kikuyu mother refuses to recognize his Luo father in the eulogy (LOOK)

Thursday, September 17, 2026 - Fresh details have emerged surrounding the burial of late rapper Stoopid Boy, with questions now being raised over his name, family background, and final resting place.

According to details shared online, Stoopid Boy’s name was changed from Edgar Davids Odhiambo Ochieng to Edgar Waititu, with the latter name appearing on his cross and eulogy.

The late rapper was also buried in Miharati, Kipipiri, instead of Siaya, where some people expected him to be laid to rest given his Luo roots.

His mother, Naomi Wambui Muthoni, was reportedly not on good terms with his father, who is believed to have been an absentee dad.

Stoopid’s mother chose not to include his father in the eulogy, for reasons best known to her.

Stoopid Boy died after taking his own life.

Before his death, he was reportedly struggling with alcoholism and depression.
