Kamulu boda boda rider killed and his body dumped in a farm after ferrying two passengers at night - Walimuua Kama Mnyama (VIDEO)


Tuesday, July 21, 2026 - Grief has engulfed Kamulu following the brutal killing of a boda boda rider whose body was found dumped in a farm after he reportedly picked up two passengers at night.

The deceased has been identified as Douglas Michieka, a boda boda operator attached to the Athi Boda Boda Stage in Kamulu.

According to reports, on the night of July 19, Douglas left with two customers whose identities remain unknown.

He never returned home.

It is alleged that the suspects attacked him during the journey, stabbing him in the back before slitting his throat and making away with his newly acquired Boxer motorcycle.

His lifeless body was discovered the following morning, July 20, at Mwalim Farm in the Mitembe area.

The tragic incident has left fellow boda boda riders and residents in shock, with many calling for swift investigations and the arrest of those responsible.

Police have launched investigations into the murder as efforts to trace the stolen motorcycle and identify the suspects continue.

Douglas's death adds to the growing number of attacks targeting boda boda riders, particularly those operating at night, raising fresh concerns over their safety while on duty.
