PHOTO of the GSU officer who was killed outside State House as postmortem reveals he died a painful death - He was the only child and leaves no wife or children



Tuesday, October 14, 2025 - The postmortem report for GSU officer Ramadhan Hamisi Mattanka, who was killed outside State House, Nairobi, has confirmed that he died from excessive bleeding caused by a deep arrow wound to the chest.

According to the autopsy findings, the arrow pierced through the officer’s left 7th and 8th ribs, went through the left lung, and punctured the heart, leading to excessive internal bleeding that caused his death.

Officer Ramadhan will be laid to rest today in Kajiado County, where family, friends, and colleagues are expected to gather to pay their final respects.

Human rights organizations, including VOCAL Africa, have continued to call for justice for the slain officer and urged the Government to ensure better safety measures for police officers while on duty.
